2007, Do not remember. It just happened. I realize it’s been 10 years now.

I have always surrounded myself with people who believed in me.

Football, I have always grown up playing football and it’s what I love to do in my free time.
What would be your ultimate achievement?
Winning the World Men’s Team Championships with India.
Is sport a natural talent or a skill that is developed?
More of hard work & developing yourself that makes the difference. Talent has a very minimal edge though.
World Cup or Olympic gold?
If our sport was in the Olympics, Olympic gold. So, for now, World Championships
Perk of being an athlete
Best perk is getting away with School exams, I must say. Jokes Apart, I think you are naturally inclined to a more disciplined life.

Who is your favourite opponent?
Anyone with a good sense of humour.
The opponent you dislike playing with?
Mainly someone who makes me run a lot. Saurav and Harinder in training especially.
What is your most prized possession?
Something I wear on my right hand.
Who had the greatest influence in your life and why was it such an impact?
Major Maniam (my head coach for almost 10 years) He understood me very well and we worked together for many years closely.
If you could get a tattoo, what would it be?
I would like to donate blood so no tattoos for me.
