Emerging teenage Girls in Badminton who have the potential to make it big in future.

Smashing through the diversities Badminton is by far the second most popular sport in India. People playing the sport can be seen at every nook and corner.  There are many players who have been the flag bearers of the sport in the country and it has always been backed by a strong fan base. Apart from the seniors who have been on the run clinching various titles, the juniors have also added a number of feathers to the hat. There are dozens of outstanding players in Indian Junior Circuit. From Ritika Thaker to Gayatri Gopichand, here’s a list of the top juniors who have accomplished various feats. 10). SMIT TOSHINWAL

Smit Toshinwal emerged champions in the All-India Junior ranking Badminton tournament. She also concluded at the pre-quarter finals of the India Junior International (2019) and into the main draw of the Yonex Dutch Junior International (2019). She is ranked 71st at the Junior BWF rankings. 9). AMOLIKA SINGH SISODIYA Amolika ranked 68th at the BWF Junior rankings, entered into the main draw of the Maldives International Futures series (2019) and the Yonex German Junior (2019). 8). RITIKA THAKER Ritika Thaker triumphed at the All India U-19 Yonex-Sunrise All India Ranking Badminton tournament. She made it into the main draw of Badminton Asia Junior Championships (2019). She is ranked 61st at the BWF Junior rankings. 7).TANYA HEMANTH

The 51st BWF Junior ranked Tanya emerged Champion at the All India Sub Junior Rankings tournament in 2017.  She was the finalist at the Li-Ning Cyprus International Junior tournament (2019). She was the Semi-Finalist at the singles and the doubles of the Dubai Junior International Series (2019). She was also the Quarter-finalist at the Russian Junior White Nights 2019. 6). AAKARSHI KASHYAP Aakarshi Kashyap won the Senior nationals title (2019), at the Yonex Sunrise All India Senior National Ranking tournament. She also clinched the Junior Nationals at the U-19 and the U-17 categories in 2016. She made it into the Pre-Quarters of the Li-Ning Denmark Open 2019, FZ Forza Solvenia International 2019 and the IDBI Federal Life Insurance Hyderabad Open 2019. She is also ranked 50th at the BWFJunior rankings. 5).MALVIKA BANSOD Malvika Bansod recently secured title at the Annapurna Nepal International Series after clinching her maiden International title at the Maldives International series which was her maiden International at the Senior category. She was also the Semi-Finalist at the Bulgarian Junior International Championship. She is also the 43rd ranked BWF Junior player. 4). TREESA JOLLY Treesa Jolly emerged into the finals at the singles and doubles of the Dubai Junior International Series 2019. The Treesa Jolly/ Varshini Viswanath Sri duo were the semi-finalist at the Yonex German Juniors 2019. She is the 34th ranked BWF Junior player.   3). GAYATRI GOPICHAND PULLELA Gayatri is the 28th ranked BWF Junior player.The sixteen year old clinched titles at both the singles and the doubles at the All- India Senior rankings tournament. She was the Semi-finalist at the Annapurna International Series (2019). She was also the Quarter-finalist at the White Nights 2019 and at the Penbangunan Jaya Raya Grand Prix (2019).   2). SAMIYA IMAD FAROOQUI She won Gold at the Bulgarian Junior International Championship. She was also the Quarter-finalist at the Annapurna Nepal International Series (2019) and at the Myanmar International Series (2019). She bagged her maiden Gold at the National Junior ranking tournament earlier this year. She also won Gold at the U-15 Women’s singles at the Asian Junior Championship. She is ranked 26th at the BWF Junior rankings.   1). VAISHNAVI REDDY JAKKA

The 17-year-old Vaishnavi is the 8th ranked Junior BWF player. She clinched title at the Yonex Belgian Junior International series (2019). She was also the Semi-finalist at the Mongolia Junior International series 2019 and the Quarter-finalist at the Mongolia International Challenge. She reached her career high Rank No.2 earlier this year.
