When did you start racing and do you remember why you started?

In 2010. I always had the love for speed. I own a go-karting track in my hometown. And this made me get into Professional Racing.

Are you a Predator or a Buddha?

I’m both. I can be aggressive when needed and I can even be focused, calm and have patience and wait for my competitors to do some mistake so that I can take advantage of that.

Any pre-race and post-race rituals you follow.

I block out myself from the outside world 10 mins before my race. I sit alone all by myself and meditate. Talk to my Kart/Car and get into my zone. Pray to God and tell him to be with me.

One teacher, you would like to have as your coach.

I can’t expect anyone better. I have my father, my Malaysian mechanic who is my brother too, and None other than Akbar uncle.

Your Top speed

You have a chance to play another sport. Which one would it be?  

Badminton, Tennis & Football. I would have excelled in any of this sport.

What would be your ultimate achievement?

To prove myself by racing at International level in Formula Racing and make my country proud.

How will you want to be known in 10 years from now?

I can imagine myself racing at the best level in Motorsports. Most importantly, as a better sportsperson.

In what area of the race do you think you have to improve?

I’m always going to keep learning and improving my driving skills. I would want to focus more on improving my driving style.

Is racing a natural talent or a skill that is developed?

It’s a skill that is developed. One has to keep learning and practicing to get better and better every day.

Perk of being a racer

You can always get a chance to push the Machines to their limits and get the real feel of the speed and adrenaline rush that comes with it.

Your first race.

My first race was in 2010 in Hyderabad. Everything was new for me. Racing among each other. Driving styles. All the tracks were new. I had to stay focused and learn new things.

Which team do you race for?

I have my own racing team in Go-karting and I race for it. I race for Meco Motorsports in Formula 4 for the last 2 years.

Who had the greatest influence in your life?

My Father. He has always been there for me and he has worked really hard to get me to this level. We have bad days too, but that doesn’t matter.

What matters the most during ‘Do or Die’ situations?

Don’t ever panic or get stressed in the worst situations. Just stay calm and try to get out of the situation without doing any damage to yourself or your competitors.

What are the most common roadblocks that stop racers from achieving their dreams?

Financial budget is one of the roadblocks for the racers to achieve more in Motorsports.

If you could get a tattoo, what would it be?

Don’t give up. Be the Best!

Your short and long-term goals

To perform much better in Formula 4 this year and get into International Formula racing next year. And long term plan still needs to be decided because financial budget is always an important factor in Motorsports.

Who do you think knows you the best?

No one. It’s me. I know myself better and I prefer not letting anyone know me more.

One thing you used to do as a child that you wish you could still do?

To be the real me and not thinking about how everyone will see me or judge me

Good memories of school

I have many of them. I am a really mischievous student. You make memories only when you are mischievous and naughty.

What would you do if you won the lottery?

Would put all the money to fund my races. So that my dad doesn’t have any stress.

One message to your opponents

I’ll always stay strong. I won’t give up. Will keep on working hard and will prove myself to the world.

Your achievements so far

I have been racing since last 7 years, and I have won more than 60 trophies. Recently I won the JK Racing National Formula 4 Rookie Championship and became the youngest racer to win that title.
